ABOUT US

When you visit Harvest, you’ll meet a community of Jesus followers who have been together for 28 years. In 1993, a group of young adults from Journey Evangelical Church in Westminster, CA came together to plant Harvest Community Church in Irvine. Through the years families have faithfully raised their children together, studied the Word, prayed, and served the people of Orange County.

We are excited to enter into our next season of ministry as we step into our newly-purchased and renovated building. With this new season comes new leadership. In early 2020, Harvest called Pastor Kevin McGill to be Harvest’s new Lead Pastor. Having served in pastoral ministry for nearly twenty years, Pastor Kevin is passionate about making disciples of the next generation (sermons) and leading followers of Jesus to impact Irvine, Orange County, and the world.

OUR WORSHIP

During your visit you will experience rich, contemporary music led by our worship Pastor, Jerry Low. Our church is filled with gifted and experienced musicians who are committed to leading us every week in worship. Pastor Kevin’s messages are timely, personal, and always draw from scripture. And the one thing we will always encourage you to do is linger after the service. We enjoy being together, and we want to meet you, too!

OUR COMMUNITY

Harvest wants you to find your place. We have a rich small group ministry. You'll discover that over 80% of our church members participate in our small groups, many groups having met for over a decade. You can also fellowship with our Men's Ministry and Women’s Ministry, Seniors' Ministry, Couples' Ministry or Young Adults Ministry.

OUR FAMILY

43% of people who accept Jesus do so by the age of 13. Harvest is deeply committed to supporting families in their desire to lead your child to Christ and disciple them. Our children’s ministry director and youth pastor offer weekly worship and Bible studies, service opportunities, retreats, etc. Expect to meet staff and leaders who want to give your child an exciting and engaging experience as they study God’s Word and worship.
